General Questions

Yes. Our dispatch center is staffed by real humans 24 hours a day, 365 days a year — including holidays. There are no voicemails, no automated phone trees, and no "call back tomorrow." If you're stranded at 3 AM on Christmas morning, you'll speak to a live dispatcher who will get a truck rolling immediately.

We operate throughout the Metro City area and surrounding counties, including major highways, rural roads, and urban centers. Our strategically positioned fleet allows us to reach most locations within 25 minutes. For long-distance towing, we provide safe, insured transport across the entire state. Check our Service Areas page for detailed coverage or call to confirm your location.

Our average response time across all calls is under 25 minutes. Many urban calls see arrival in 15 minutes or less. Times may vary based on weather, traffic, and your location. When you call, the dispatcher will give you a realistic ETA and you can track the truck's progress if needed.

Absolutely. Every TowFast operator is fully licensed, background-checked, and undergoes rigorous training. Our fleet is commercially insured, and we carry comprehensive liability and cargo coverage. Your vehicle is protected from the moment we hook up until it's safely delivered.

Services & Pricing

We provide a full range of roadside assistance: battery jump-starts, flat tire changes (we bring a spare or can tow you), fuel delivery (gas and diesel), vehicle lockout assistance, on-site minor repairs, and off-road/accident recovery. For a complete list, visit our Services page.

We believe in transparent, upfront pricing. The cost depends on the distance, vehicle type, time of day, and specific service needed. For a standard local tow (within 10 miles) for a sedan, prices start around $89. There are no hidden hook-up fees, fuel surcharges, or after-hours penalties. You'll always receive a firm quote before we dispatch. Visit our Pricing page for detailed examples.

Yes. Flatbed towing is our standard for most calls, especially for all-wheel-drive vehicles, luxury cars, motorcycles, and long-distance transport. It's the safest method and protects your vehicle from drivetrain damage. All our flatbeds are modern, well-maintained, and operated by trained professionals.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay), and cash. For fleet accounts, we offer invoicing and monthly billing. Payment is typically handled on-site after service is completed, but we can also process it remotely if you prefer. No hidden fees ever.

Safety & Process

First, ensure you're in a safe location: pull over as far right as possible, turn your wheels away from traffic, and activate hazard lights. If it's safe to exit, set up reflective triangles/flares behind your vehicle. Remain inside your car with the seatbelt on unless there is smoke, fire, or you're in a dangerous spot. Our dispatcher will stay on the line with you if you feel unsafe. For more detailed safety guidance, read our roadside safety blog.

All our trucks are clearly marked with the TowFast logo, bright emergency lights, and the company phone number. Our driver will confirm your name and the details of your call before touching your vehicle. You can always call our dispatcher back at 1-800-555-1234 to verify the driver's identity if you have any doubt. Never accept unsolicited help from unmarked trucks.

In most cases, yes — our trucks have passenger seats and we're happy to give you a ride to the destination along with your vehicle. However, for safety and insurance reasons, we can only accommodate one passenger and cannot transport children under 12 without an appropriate car seat (which we don't provide). If you have a larger group, we can help arrange alternative transportation.

Account & Billing

Yes. We work with most major auto insurance providers and can assist with direct billing when your policy covers towing or roadside assistance. If your insurance requires pre-authorization, please inform the dispatcher when you call. We'll provide all necessary documentation for your claim, including an itemized invoice and service report.

Absolutely. We offer dedicated fleet accounts with consolidated monthly invoicing, priority dispatch, and discounted rates based on volume. Fleet managers get access to a dashboard with call history and real-time job tracking. To set up an account, contact our team through the Contact page or call our main line and ask for fleet services.

For security and to authorize the service, we generally require the vehicle owner or an authorized representative to be present. However, we can make exceptions for pre-arranged situations (e.g., you've already been picked up by a family member). In such cases, we'll coordinate the pickup and drop-off securely and send you digital confirmation once complete.
